Kayman has been walking for about a month now, and is just starting to get into everything he can reach. I was in the family room getting some work done when he started crying. (Kayman is crying about 50% of the time, so this didn't get me out of my seat too quickly.) Syd went to check on him and this is what she found! He can reach our stash of soy milk and he opened the lid and dug his finger through the seal. He didn't realize it was going to send milk gushing out at him and he didn't know what to do! He just stood there crying until I picked him up and cleaned him off. It was pretty funny. He just looked at me with that pitiful look you see below. I am really glad he didn't start walking around and slip or something. I have since moved the milk.

The Zoo
My friend and I went to the zoo one last time before my membership expired. We went on a beautiful day! We even got hot while we were there, pretty amazing considering this cold weather we are having now in Salt Lake. So we didn't get any pictures of the animals, but a few of the kids.
Kayman and Annabelle enjoyed the stroller ride, watching the animals and all the people.
Kayman really enjoyed the monkeys. He was laughing at them the whole time, it was so cute!
Syd wanted to take a few pictures, so here I am.
This is Samantha taking pictures of Syd and Jess. She got them all posed the way she wanted them and the girls thought it was great.
We had a lot of fun and hopefully we will be going back soon!

Flying
So I was introduced to "FlyLady" by my cousin Kari (thanks Kari!) and have really been trying to apply the lessons learned on her website, flylady.net. I have had a hard time keeping up with all the daily cleaning to get my house in good shape, but today, with the help of a good friend of mine, I was FLYING again! My house got a lot of good cleaning today and feels so much better! I think the website itself is very chaotic, but the information there, if you can find what may work for you, is wonderful! I highly recommend it to anyone who is in a cleaning slump and looking for motivation.

Frenectomy
Syd was so brave today, she had her first surgery. She had a frenectomy (removal of the little fleshy thing that holds your lip to your jaw above your front teeth) and she did so great! Syd's was extremely thick and caused a large gap between her two front teeth. I know a lot of you are probably thinking, "Who cares, she's just a kid!" Well, it was so thick that it would have to be done sooner or later, and after doing some research, Andy and I decided to get it done now to eliminate some of the scar tissue problems that can occur if it is done later on.
She had to get numbed up and then they lasered that thing off. It's a pretty big hole in her mouth, and I will spare you a nasty picture of that, but here she is in the chair waiting for the numbing gel to kick in. She had been so excited all week and didn't move a muscle the whole time. My Syd is such a brave girl and I'm so proud of her!
New Blog
I still have SO many problems with my mac blog, so here I am starting one on blogger. Everyone else seems to have good results with it, so here goes. I don't have it formatted cute or anything yet, maybe that will come, you know, in all my spare time! :) I am excited to get this going again, I have been a major slacker in the blog world lately. Keep checking back!
